Marie Barani

Knowledge Lawyer

Marie has experience of intellectual property transactions across the whole innovation cycle, from R&D to intellectual property commercialisation, including patent, trade secret and software licensing, software assignment and patent litigation. 
She has a specific knowledge of competition law and data protection requirements applicable to R&D activities and intellectual property monetisation, such as state aids law, the technology transfer block exemption regulation and the general data protection regulation. She has a particular experience with standard-essential patent and FRAND licensing acquired in different positions.
