Maciej specialises in commercial and company law, mainly focusing on private M&A, especially in the context of cross-border transactions.

He advises clients on a wide range of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, and related regulatory issues.

He has extensive experience in working with different types of clients, including financial institutions, private equity funds and strategic investors across various sectors and industries, including TMT, energy, infrastructure or financial services.

Maciej is recognised for his solution-oriented approach, as well as his ability to handle complex and multi-jurisdictional transactions.

Representative matters

Cordiant Digital Infrastructure Limited on its acquisition of Emitel, the operator of terrestrial radio and television infrastructure in Poland, from Astatine Investment Partners.

American Tower Corporation on the sale of its Polish subsidiary ATC Polska, an operator of 65 towers leased to mobile network operator tenants, to Emitel S.A.

Ørsted on a joint venture with PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A. for the development, construction and operation of two offshore wind projects in the Baltic Sea, with a total potential capacity of up to 2.5GW.

A global financial institution on the establishment of a Polish branch of a credit institution and the structuring and execution of the intra-group cross border merger with its Polish subsidiary.

Pro bono

Advising a foundation dedicated to improving cancer care, on the legal aspects of hiring and remunerating experts, as well as changing the foundation's statute.

Advising a foundation dedicated to protecting the environment on various corporate aspects of the foundation’s operations.
