Ling’s corporate practice has a strong emphasis on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic investment and capital markets.

She has particular experience in advising Chinese companies and investment funds on outbound transactions in a wide range of industries. Prior to joining the firm in 2014, Ling acted as the general counsel of a Chinese energy enterprise that focuses on overseas investment. From 2003 to 2009, Ling worked with a top Wall Street law firm.

"Ling has been consistently ranked for Energy & Natural Resources by Chambers Asia Pacific in China”. In 2011, Ling was awarded In-house Legal Award in Asia Women in Business by China Law & Practice. She was also voted as one of China’s Ten Leading In-house Legal Counsels by Asian Legal Business in 2012. She speaks Mandarin and English.
