Laura Harvey

Senior Associate

Laura has experience in advising on merger control proceedings before the European Commission and national competition authorities, as well as on behavioural and regulatory matters and on competition litigation. 

Laura has also spent six months on secondment in the Brussels Antitrust group.

Laura's merger control experience includes advising Seagate Technology International on the second phase review by the European Commission of its acquisition of Samsung Electronics HDD business; Vale on its disposal of its global aluminium business; and Charterhouse on the sale of the Autobar Group.

She regularly advises clients on behavioural matters and investigations including Hitachi in connection with various European Commission investigations, and 20th Century Fox on an investigation by the European Commission into digital cinema and on the current UK Competition Commission market investigation.
