He has experience in advising international clients and alternative investment funds on cross-border investments including advising on the structuring of international acquisitions via Luxembourg investment vehicles. He also assists clients with their tax litigation needs and has experience in handling disputes with the tax authorities.
Prior to joining the firm in 2022, Julien acquired experience in various reputable law firms through his internships.
He holds a double law degree in French and German law from the University Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and the University of Cologne.
Julien is currently undertaking a secondment within the Financial Services Regulatory department. During this secondment, Julien is advising on a wide range of regulatory matters, mainly related to investment funds (including AIFMD/ UCITSD), the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing, banking matters (including CRR/CRD), payment services (PSD2) and investment services (MiFID II).
