With more than nine (9) years of professional practice, Juan José has advised Spanish taxation issues on domestic and international transactions, particularly for corporate clients and private equity houses on complex deals.

He has broad experience advising Spanish and international companies, private equity houses and financial institutions on the tax aspects of cross-border mergers and acquisitions, leveraged acquisitions, capital markets and structured finance products, real estate transactions and tax litigation.

His experience is extended to the full “deal continuum”, mainly in tax structuring, tax modelling, deal execution and post-deal integration advice, and with wide expertise in tax due diligence projects.

In addition, he has deep and solid knowledge of accounting matters involving the M&A transactions, as well as the tax implications related to asset securitisation operations, real estate investment and divestment operations, and acquisition and/or refinancing of loan portfolios (performing, sub-performing and non-performing) with real estate guarantee.
