Stéphanie is the Belgian Head of Know-How.

She keeps the Belgian fee earners and their clients up to date on all current legal and regulatory developments. In addition, she leads the development of knowledge management and global know-how projects, hosts internal and client training sessions, provides advice on technical topics, writes client and internal publications and produces practical guidance on legal developments.

She is also a strong member of our sustainability team, and she advises on a wide range of sustainability matters, including corporate reporting and disclosure and governance and risk management.

Before taking up this role, Stéphanie advised on general corporate law and specialised in corporate transactions, restructurings, private equity and M&A work.

Experience

Representative matters

Borealis, on its offer to acquire a majority interest in Euronext listed Rosier SA, the Belgian mineral fertilizer company from Total, simultaneously with its offer to acquire all outstanding shares of Total's French affiliate GPN SA.

Sigdo Koppers, the Chilean conglomerate listed on the Santiago Stock Exchange, on its EUR 550m acquisition of the global business of Magotteaux group (Belgium).

Campbell Soup Company, the manufacturer and marketer of high-quality foods and simple meals, on the sale of its business in Europe to CVC Capital Partners (CVC), the leading global private equity firm. The transaction includes Campbell’s national brands of soups, sauces and simple meals in Belgium, France, Germany and Sweden, as well as the sale of four plants in these countries.

Nuon Energy, a subsidiary of Vattenfall and a major European electricity company, on its auction sale on Nuon Belgium, Nuon Power Generation Walloon and Nuon Wind Belgium to ENI, the Italian energy company.
