Dr. Vincent Winkler advises and represents national and international companies in all areas of in-court and out-of-court dispute resolution, particularly in commercial, corporate and real estate law disputes.
He also focuses on conducting cross-border internal investigations, in particular relating to accounting law and cum/ex-structures.                                                                                          

Experience

Representative matters

Conducting an extensive internal investigation for an international German manufacturer of medical products regarding allegations of potential misconduct regarding accounting practices and related issues. The advice related also to necessary remediation measures.

Cross-border internal investigation of a bank on tax-driven so-called cum/ex transactions in German and Austrian shares around dividend record date and coordination of approach to public prosecution office, tax and regulatory authorities in Germany, Austria and UK. This involves transactions with potential profits up to a total three-digit million range.

Representing a major German bank in about 300 prospectus liability claims with a total of approximately 400 plaintiffs.

Pro bono

Supporting an international NGO in relation to applications of vulnerable Afghan citizens under the German Federal Admission Programme for Afghanistan (Bundesaufnahmeprogramm für Afghanistan)
