Knut is Head of Germany ECM.

He has more than 20 years of experience in a broad range of capital markets transactions of listed companies, in particular IPOs, capital increases and rights issues, block trades and private placements, convertible and exchangeable bonds, bonds with warrants, high-yield and investment grade bonds as well as takeover offers and take-private transactions. His practice also includes capital markets compliance and corporate governance matters. Knut works with major investment banks, blue chip and growth companies on their most complex German and international capital markets transactions.

Experience

Representative matters

A leisure, travel and tourism company on the successful refinancing of Corona-related staid aid measures by way of rights issues, non-preemptive capital increases and convertible bond issuances in the total amount of around EUR 4.5bn. 

A sovereign wealth fund on a EUR750m cornerstone investment in the EUR 9.4bn. IPO of Porsche AG.

Uniper on a mandatory convertible instrument in the amount of up to EUR 7.7 bn issued to the Federal Government as part of its stabilisation package. 

The underwriters on the EUR 1.4bn. IPO of Rocket Internet on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
