Dr Cornelia Drenckhahn

Senior Associate

Cornelia has broad experience in both, individual and collective labour law, as well as in the connected field of social security law.

She advises national and international corporations and groups of companies on all labour law matters, including disputes with senior and top-executives, drafting and negotiation of complex employment or termination arrangements. The extensive expertise of Cornelia also includes works agreements, reconciliations of interests, social plans and complex court actions.

In addition to providing practical legal support to her clients in respect of their day-to-day employment law related challenges, she advises in particular on the employment law aspects of company acquisitions, IPOs and restructurings. Cornelia also represents clients in labour law disputes with employees or employee representation bodies in all court instances.

Based on her experience as an employee representative herself before choosing the profession of a lawyer and her previous work in the employment law team of one of the big four auditors, Cornelia is particularly qualified to understand the business challenges facing her clients. In turn, those help her to develop creative and feasible solutions.
