Business Development & Marketing
Business Development & Marketing converts knowledge into concrete marketing. The main objective of this department is to win clients and keep them coming back. All activities are dedicated to enhancing the reputation, relationships and visibility of Allen & Overy.
The Business Services division is responsible for the provision of facilities services from Allen & Overy. The department operates proactively and in accordance with customer requirements. Everything is done to ensure that clients and employees have the right facilities and services at their disposal to perform their work optimally.
The Finance Department is divided into four teams. Billing prepares and sends the invoices. Debtors ensures that payment is demanded in a timely manner and that payments received are processed correctly. Accounts Payable is responsible for payment. Financial Accounting regulates the accounting and reporting.
Our HR department is young and ambitious. Besides the Head of HR, there are HR consultants working with the service centre, the Recruitment Department and a secretary. They support and advise managers and employees. Allen & Overy is committed to an honest, organisationally sensitive and clear HR policy.
This division provides IT training and ensures that the IT infrastructure of the office functions properly.
Allen & Overy wants to commit high level knowledge and experience to its clients. The Know-How & Education department supports these efforts with a range of internal knowledge management tools. The department produces the information resources for our staff in general. Each year the department organises about a thousand internal training courses.
80 - 90 secretaries work within our office, across the various practice groups, evening secretaries and secretarial pool. They provide professional, proactive support to our fee earners. They ensure communication, diary management and processing of legal documents run smoothly.
