Arbitration agreement declared unlawful on basis it was discriminatory

The Court of Appeal has struck down an arbitration agreement as void for being in breach of the Employment Equality (Religion and Belief) Regulations 2003 (Regulations), on the basis that arbitrators are "employees" pursuant to the Regulations and so protected by the anti-discrimination provisions contained therein.
